Santo Domingo. The Dean of the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences (FCES), Edita Rodríguez, sworn the Campaign Committee that will accompany her in the second round of the university electoral process 2026-2030, with a structure made up of teachers and collaborators from different schools of the faculty.
During the event, Rodríguez stressed that the team was formed with the purpose of developing a campaign based on unity, participation and commitment to academic excellence, in view of the elections scheduled for next July.
The organizational structure includes strategic areas such as general management, executive coordination, planning, communication, mobilization, logistics, finance, voting, political coordination and coordination of regional centres, as well as support teams in each of the schools that make up the FCES.
As general advisers, Pablo Valdez, Juan Cerda Luna and Isaiah Martínez were appointed. The General Campaign Directorate will be headed by Cándido Ramírez, while Aldelys Rodríguez will assume the Executive Coordination.
Wagner Gomera was also designated in Strategy and Planning; José Ledesma in Political Coordination; Fermín Pérez in the Regional Centres; Modesto Suriel in Mobilization and Call; Esther Perdomo in Communication and Press; Reymon Martínez and Deibi Cabrera as responsible for D-Day; Sill Batista as a link with students; Denny Santana in Logistics; Miguel Mateo as a link with administrative staff; Nicolás Cruz in Special Support for the candidate; Dorka Alcántara, Francisco Reyes Valerio and Roberto Martínez in the Defense of the Voto and the Sillido Finance; and Ofrido.
The coordination teams of the various schools of the faculty were also presented during the activity. The coordinators of the regional centres and centres are reported to be sworn in in in the next few days.
The meeting was marked by an atmosphere of enthusiasm and commitment, reflecting the confidence of the members of the committee in the proposal that Rodríguez heads to lead the FCES during the next management period.
In addressing the present, the candidate thanked the support received and stated that the second round represents an opportunity to consolidate a shared vision of the future for the faculty.
“This great team symbolizes the strength of unity and commitment to a more innovative, inclusive and close faculty to its people. Each member takes on the mission of working with dedication to continue to join the will and build together a victory that represents the entire academic community,” he said.
Rodríguez also held that the diversity of experiences and leadership that the committee is part of strengthens the organization capacity of the campaign and ensures greater proximity with the university community.
With a structure covering all schools and regional centres of the faculty, the candidate reiterated her call for participation and conscious vote in the next election day, convinced that unity, dialogue and joint work will be decisive in further promoting an FCES oriented towards academic excellence.
