The People's Force (FP) party opened a new place in the Santiago Oeste municipal district, during an event led by the provincial president of the organization, Demostenes Martínez, with the participation of leaders and members of that political entity.
The new headquarters, located on Sergio Hernández Avenue, in the Cienfuegos sector, opposite the Santiago Oeste fire station, will serve as a centre for meetings, coordination and planning of the political and organizational activities of the People's Force in this demarcation.
During the opening, the president of the FP in Santiago Oeste and spokesman of the organization's block of deputies, José David Baez, stressed the importance of having a space of his own to strengthen the pro-electoral work for the next electoral processes.
“Today we opened the house of the People's Force in Santiago Oeste. And this bastion of people here is a clear sign that in 2028 the PRM is leaving and it is the People's Force that will rule this country,” Baez said to the attendees.
On his side, Hipólito Martínez, president of the People's Force in the number one district of Santiago, valued the strategic location of the new place and noted that its doors will be open to citizens interested in integrating into the activities of the organization.
“This is the house of the village. We're a great family. Here there must be work, respect, solidarity and, above all, love and vocation of service,” said Martínez, who also stressed the importance of working together around the political project that Leonel Fernández heads.
Meanwhile, Ana María Leclerc, Secretary General of the People's Force in Santiago Oeste and current regidora, said that the opening of the new headquarters represents the commitment of the leaders and members of the organization to the people of that community.
In addition, Yoel Payamps, responsible for the collection of the FP in Santiago Oeste, explained that the new site will be used to develop meetings and plan the political activities of the organization, with a view to the municipal, congressional and presidential elections of 2028.
Payamps said that from that space, efforts to strengthen the party's electoral presence in Santiago Oeste and to support the presidential aspirations of Leonel Fernández, who he defined as the political leader with the country's most experienced, will be coordinated.
The event reported that the general secretary of the People's Force in Santiago province, Altagracia González, could not be present at the opening of the new place because it was fulfilling party responsibilities in Montecristi, where it serves as a national liaison of the Political Directorate of the organization.
The opening ended with a collective proclamation of the organization's motto, when the leaders and militants present expressed in one voice: “With the People's Force, we will win!”.
