MOCA, Espaillat.-The Civil Defense Station 28 in the province of Espaillat, is developing first-aid training days for its volunteers and the interested public as part of efforts to strengthen the knowledge and skills needed to respond to emergencies and risk situations.
The training is carried out under the provincial direction of Victor Alfonso Vásquez, with the participation of Angelo Rodríguez, instructor of the National School of Risk Management, who is responsible for providing technical knowledge in this important area.
The days in the PEDEPE rooms are designed to prepare and update participants in first aid procedures, initial care for people affected by emergencies and other key techniques to act in a timely manner in the event that may endanger the life and physical integrity of people.
This initiative seeks to contribute to the strengthening of the capacities of volunteers and citizens interested in acquiring knowledge that will enable them to respond more adequately and efficiently to emergencies.
Continuing training is an essential tool for relief agencies, as it allows for the updating of procedures and the improvement of the response capacity to accidents, natural disasters and other situations that require immediate assistance.
With these actions, the 28 Civil Defense Station in Espaillat reaffirms the importance of the preparation, prevention and ongoing training of its members and the population, with the aim of contributing to the protection of lives and property in the province.
