The provincial director of the Dominican Institute for the Prevention and Protection of Labour Risks (IDOPPRIL), Jhordany Rodríguez, is promoting guidance and training in public institutions and private companies in the province, with the aim of promoting greater awareness of the prevention of labour risks and the protection of workers.
Training days allow for timely information to be provided to employers and employees on the importance of safety in the work environment, accident prevention and knowledge of rights and benefits related to occupational risks.
These initiatives contribute to the creation of safer working spaces and to the strengthening of a preventive culture that will benefit both workers and the institutions and enterprises of the province.
As part of the actions to facilitate access to institutional services, the IDOPPRIL has an office in Santa Bárbara de Samaná, located next to the Catholic church, as well as a care module at the Hospital Municipal Dr. Antonio A. Paulino, in Las Terrenas.
Rodríguez invited workers, employers and other users to come to these facilities to receive guidance and assistance on the services offered by the institution.
The offices run from Monday to Friday, starting at 8: 00 in the morning.
Through training and the availability of care points in different locations, IDOPPRIL seeks to strengthen its approach to citizenship and to facilitate access to information essential to the prevention, labour protection and well-being of Samaná workers.
