In a tragic tragedy in the Guachupita sector of the capital, a man lost his life by collapsing the humble house he lived in.
Eddy Rodríguez, 51, who became viral years ago because of an incident in which he dug up and burned his mother's body because of alleged inheritance problems, was found lifeless among the rubble.
The fatal event took place around 7 a.m., according to some residents of the area. The rhyme of the collapse alerted people living near the Benavides canyon, raising concern about Rodríguez's absence in the place.
After warning the authorities, members of the Civil Defense and Public Works began the search around noon and, after several hours of work, found the first signs of Rodriguez's lifeless body, around 4: 00 p.m.
In the face of the situation, engineer Fabián Núñez said: After this emergency, we hope that the higher authorities will assess the situation and take the necessary measures to find a solution.
According to the residents, Rodríguez was engaged in construction and other work independently.
The house in which he lived had previously been problematic, but despite the inconvenience, no measures were taken to demolish him.
After the incident that he had been in the municipality of La Vega several years ago and which became viral, Eddy Rodríguez moved to the capital and settled in the Guachupita sector, where he unfortunately lost his life on Friday after the collapse of his home.
